SCOTT M. MCKINNIS

Scott’s practice focuses on small businesses and estate planning for individuals. He represents small and medium-size businesses and their owners in all aspects from creating the business, to collecting large accounts receivables, to drafting leases, real estate acquisitions, and employment agreements to help those businesses grow.

He also has experience in the sale of a business or planning for the succession of a business to the next generation of owners. Scott helps individuals plan for future generations of individuals and families through estate planning. In addition to general estate planning, he represents families of persons with special needs in petitioning the probate courts for guardianship and helping those families to prepare for the future needs of such individuals through special needs trusts.
